    Your Airliners.net & JetPhotos.net Photos - Week of 6/22/08

A couple from a lens experiment last week...

Note: If you're looking to test out a new lens, World's Fair Marina is a great place to go...because you can walk up and down the marina, you can get full-frame shots at just about any focal length. And because the traffic isn't terribly interesting, you won't kick yourself for missing a key shot :)

Do you ever get home from shooting and see a bunch of shots that you don't think are worth editing, and then you look at them days or months later and you realize they're actually pretty good? Sometimes that happens to me...here's a couple of LGA 22 action shots from back in January during a 13/31 closure (the day of the last NYCA staff meeting, I believe) and a couple from Flushing Bay Marina in March that I happened to look at this past weekend and found some keepers. Not sure what I was thinking the first time I looked at them.

My LGA 22 shot and Tom's LAX A346 shot are #5 and 6 on JP's most popular of the day. NYCA DOMINATION.
