Shot an Air China 767-300 (B-2496)today. It came in yesterday but I wasn't aware of its flight as I was at JFK shooting the open skies.
The route Carried the Air China 767 through
ZBAA-PANC-KSTL-KADW-KJFK-KADW-KJFK-PANC-ZBAA
Arrived via 22L and departed 13R

Yea they comes once a year.....Usually to IAD..but for some reason they stopped off at JFK this time. Lots of buses everywhere at Hanger 19.

I believe there might have been a delegation for the Earthquake Relief Fund. I was having a late lunch at Pacificana yesterday in Sunset Park and the staff was fitting the chairs with stuffed slip covers and placing Chinese and American flags on the tables. By the time I left all the waiters were dressed to the nines in either faux tux's or the black pajama look. Then came some buses with official looking Chinese folks.
Spotters have been Homeland Security before HS was a glimmer in the president's eye.
