Open Skies 757-200 first flight Paris-New York 6/19 (PIX)

Open Skies had their first flight from Paris to New York today. Its an elegant looking aircraft. However I wish they kept it in BAW colors with modified titles. The Flight number was BOS001 "Bravo Oscar Sierra Zero Zero One" When the controller asked what the Callsign was the Pilot replied "Mistral". He then refered to a type of Wind in France. Flytecomm showed it as TWN1 but that is the code for Avialeasing Cargo that is based out of Miami. ACARS came through with actual aircraft flight info.
Upon arrvival on 31L the aircraft was met with a water canon Salute.
    Aircraft registration was G-BPEK

    Well done, Senga.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

    Nice shot Senga!
Does anyone know if that plane was at JFK on the 15th? I think I saw a BA 757 at T7 but wasn't sure.

that has got to be the ugliest 757 on the planet. my eye are bleeding!
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Very nice shots of the new catch, Senga.

Matt, they operated a test flight a couple of days ago which would explain what you saw.

Gorgeous shots. Arrival was scheduled at 1:25p, but this particular flight was a little early.

I went to the press junket and shot the arrival from the T7 roof, and got a peek inside the plane:

Too bad I pulled a stupid and had some camera settings wonky...wish I could've asked for a do-over!
