Great Gas Experience! </sarcasm>

I saw a gas station near my house that said $4.19 for gas. It's sad that excited me, because everyone else around had it in the $4:30s. I pulled in and held up my card, telling him to fill it. He tells me he doesn't take card. Annoying. Who doesn't take cards?

I go to the ATM and am back at the gas station in 14 minutes. In those 14 minutes, the guy raised the price 20 cents.

He said it changed in the computer in that time and he had to change it.

I guess, since he was Arab, that my next comment was somewhat racist, but I couldn't resist. "Tell your cousins they're a******s." He laughed at first, but only for a second, then stopped himself.

The other day a coworker and I went to BJ's Wholesale Club during lunch. When we got there the price of gas was 4:07...so I said I'll fill up when we leave...we walk out...the price went up to 4:15. I was pissed. On a side note if anyone gets a Valero Gas Credit card they are taking 10 cents off a gallon for your first three billing cycles. I got one...hey every penny counts these days.

Wow Phil that really blows ! I am fortunate that my wife has needed me to take her to New Jersey a lot lately, 2-3 times a month so I buy 95 pct of my gas there. I filled up a few days ago on the Turnpike for $3.85, still a lot but at least I'm saving a little.
