He probably didn't realize it was all your stuff and felt embarrassed after you New Yorked him. The checkpoints are speeding up without shortcuts on the screening side. The percentage of passengers needing secondary screening due to alarming is down because passengers are learning what they need to do.Originally Posted by mirrodie

They had it before 9/11 and no the airlines won't get it back because their priority is to get you in a seat on the plane not security. There are five airports that have private screening companies, the statistics are the same for the private and government run airports. Airports have the prerogative to "Opt-out" of having TSA run screening. Only a few very small airports have expressed interest but most want TSA and don't want the liabilities.Originally Posted by Lezam
