    NIGHT UNDER THE STARS 2008

American Airpower Museum at Republic Airport
    Offers
    “History Under the Stars”

Many of the 2008 Jones Beach Airshow aircraft will be available for this night photography event!

The AAM at Republic Airport offers “History Under the Stars” to aviation and professional photographers selected following accreditation review. To be considered you must RSVP [email protected] by May 18th 2008 with your full name and links to published works (online or print). Security requirements mandate that only a modest number of photographers will be allowed on site after public viewing hours.

    May 24, 2008 8:30 p.m. to Midnight, 1230 New Highway, Farmingdale, N.Y.

(This is not open to “point and shoot” cameras.)

    Please note:
Each photographer must wear a high visibility t-shirt provided by the museum for safety. Anyone who violates safety instructions issued by museum ramp staff will be promptly ejected as this is a working airport, airshow aircraft are present, and strict security regulations will be in effect. For any additional questions please Email [email protected].
All photos posted from this event must give American Airpower Museum at Republic location credit.

If you were included last year, please include links of published intertnet work and info on any printed work. Also please show your shots so others can see what you did last year as I could not make it....but will this year!!!! :borat:

fred, this was a great opportunity last year. i wish that i could make it this time around, but just to be able to go out on the ramp around those airplanes was wonderful. i highly recommend this to anyone interested!

fred, keep me in mind for next year though!

This was great last year! I'm excited to do it again.

Shall we do dinner before hand again like we did last year? I say lets do All American Burger, its cheap, great out door summer feel to it. Thoughts?

Behind the hangar, next to the C-47 that you probably did not see either then. I showed up really late and that was really the only shot from N.U.T.S. last year. I can not wait to go nuts this year

Hope everyone has a enjoyable evening on the tarmac as my 4-12 tour will keep me from attending this year. :)
