Just out of curosity were the Thunderbirds able to be photograpghed last year, or too far away?
If they were able - anyone case to share some pics?

Sorry double post.

Yes, they were parked on the ramp by the tower, too far away to shoot from the museum...Originally Posted by nikon50bigma

The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".
Last year they did let ppl out to look at the Thunderbirds in the early evening. Perhaps they be doing the same with the Blue Angels.
I guess I'm still packin my 100-400L :borat:Originally Posted by moose135

Someone gimme a camera to hold around my neck.
I have a few people that are asking still but we are way over full. If anyone will not be able to make it, please try to give as much notice as possible as others would love to attend. Next year it will be smaller than this year.
Thanks

Thank you all for a great time. It was a little more crowded then we would have liked but Hell, that was fun! I would love to see some of your highlights. :borat:

Luke some great shots there! I love the first one as she is pointing to the sunset! Really nice stuff!
Just a sampling from me. I don't think I'll ever get around to posting all my pics.
Fred, thanks for having us.
Here is the first of what is probably many....that will have to wait until much later.
After dealing with a PC issue all day that kept me from working on my photos due to constant need to reboot, and then watching YouTube tutorials the rest of the day - since I'm no PS guru ... This was my first real test.
I'm more of a get it right in the field, and make minor corrections at home type of guy. PS isn't one of my strong points.
That being said - This is my first picture of the bunch to get processed. Not because its my favorite, or my best - but because someone walked into my frame, and it bothered me so much that I had to make them disappear fast.
C&C are welcome - since I want to get the rest of them "right."
