    Shuttle landing tonight

For those interested, the shuttle is landing tonight at around 8:40. Both Fox News and CNN seem to be covering it.

What the frig it's on fire.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Oh, it's the APU venting, which is not visible during daylight.

    Re: Shuttle landing tonight

Actually passed overhead my area on way to Kennedy at around 8 or so. Heard a loud bang and thought something fell on the house. Found out this morning on the local news that it was the sonic boom caused by reentry by the Shuttle.
