    3/9 JFK Review

Ok, so I wasn't planning on heading out today, but early in the afternoon, with my Honey-Do list complete and daylight savings time on my side, I set forth for Howard Beach. With depertures running over an hour late, my goal of the Argentine 340, India 777, and South African 340 went only 2/3's complete. Here's a very brief recap.

Three weeks in a row for this one

    And one for Phil

Hope to see you out there soon.

    JFK 03/09/08 - Pics

Well it was cold as heck out there with the wind blowing as hard as it was today.
Tower was reporting winds 270 @ 25kts w/higher gusts at times.
I finally had a few hours to myself and wanted to give the new 40D a go.
Spent about an hour at HoBe, then over to Firestone.
One of our regulars stopped by Firestone for a bit, but for the life of me I cant remember your name now, sorry dude.
We both spent the majority of time in our cars, only getting out to shoot.
Here's just a few from today, I'll add more in the next few days.

    HoBe

    Firestone

More to come later this week

    Wow...how late was Air India?

Good stuff...I was out at LGA for a couple of hours, but I didn't see anything even remotely unusual (or anything bigger than a 737...), and it was way too windy, and the light wasn't great...

Air India rotated at around 1815 (due to go at 1710). I was fast losing light and fearful I would't get a decent look. South Africa continues to avoid me.
