Day Trip to BWI on NAA 763?

Read that North American would be discontinuing their service from BWI-JFK-Lagos in May which effectively limits our opportunities to get on a 767-300 domestically for such a short flight. Anybody interested in doing a day-trip down to BWI? Looking at some of the numbers, it looks like it's about $150 round-trip which isn't all that bad. You don't get much time in BWI during a day trip (2-3 hours for the turn), so perhaps a weekend trip (Sat morn down, Sunday back) might be better? Curious as to if anyone's actually interested in doing this (or crazy enough, like me). I'd be most interested in getting some good-quality video of a 763 that's lightly loaded...

That would be really cool, I might be up for that. Delta also flies a 763 down to atlanta once or twice daily

Bah, that's a solid 2 hour flight. JFK-BWI runs only 30-40 minutes of air time. :)

    Monday's flight: 31 minutes!

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Work has been crazy for me, but let me know if you want to get a group together. Those BWI legs are always very light.

SOMETIMES it gets swapped out for a 757, so keep an eye out. Well, I guess that's my job.

If you folks want to pick a weekend maybe in mid-April, that would work.

Fly to LGA-ATL-JAX, the ATL-JAX route is like 49 minutes and they have maybe one 763 daily on that route with many more 757s and MD-88s. Maybe a 738.

Just found a new a.net trip report for BWI-JFK on a NOA 763, It's a good read and a few nice photos as well.

If any of you want to take the trip in 2 weeks you could join Nick Greed and I in DC for some spotting.
