    USS New York Christened

The USS New York, a new Navy amphibious transport ship made with pieces of steel from the World Trade Center was christened in New Orleans yesterday. The $1 billion ship's bow stem (the part of the bow that cuts through the water) contains 7.5 tons of steel recovered from the Ground Zero site.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Nice to see some people didn't forget 9/11. Also nice to see a project that Northrop Grumman didn't need a foreign partner for!
