Apparently the Secret Service told Dallas police to stop screening people for weapons outside an Obama rally Wednesday. Dallas' Deputy Police Chief: "They seemed to be a "friendly crowd." Probably 99.999999% of the people in the Dallas Book Depository were "friendly" also. :roll:

Another source stated that it was Obama's people who told the Secret Service to give the order because they wanted the arena full for when he gave the speech, which seems to be more of a valid reason then the Secret Service simply telling them to stop. I just don't see why the Secret Service would stop the checks without permission from someone in his camp. Prob not the greatest move. Perhaps the next rally they should open the doors earlier to allow the crowd to move in while keeping up he checks.
