Glad you decided to get up early and go get B-KPF, Josh.

Looks like it was certainly worth it!

Nice catch! I was out spotting early two weeks ago and caught the Cathay 777 departure, but it wasn't B-KPF. Kind of a shame, because while I didn't get a 31L bank shot, I did get a 22R rotation shot.

Anyone know if this plane came back to JFK around 7:30 PM last night? I think we saw it when we were on the way into the Costco on Rockaway Turnpike last night...it was definitely Cathay Pacific, it definitely looked darker than their normal scheme, and it definitely had two engines...

(You know you've been spotting for too long when your girlfriend finds that Costco using the store locater on their website and you don't realize you've been there before until you get there.)

It operated the morning departure yesterday morning with Eric and Raj on board, I believe. So it wasn't B-KPF that you saw. The evening flight doesn't land until 9:30pm as well.
