that's an awesome trip bro, wish i could have made it out there to see you but today was my day off and i had school. it would have raised more than a few eyebrows if i walked in to work and borrowed a van for the ride down to AAL...

glad you enjoyed it! was this your first venture to our side of 4/22?
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

What a unique experience. I am bit surprised at how long the time it took to cover the distance. I think I can drive from JFK to LGA using the same amount of time when traffic is not busy, like 7 am on a weekend. :D

I'm actually kinda curious about the flight time...it was pretty much a worst-case scenario with regard to distance. If you took off from 22R at JFK and landed 31 at LGA, or took off from 31L at JFK and landed on 4 at LGA, would that shorten the flight time?

    Thanks, guys.

Yes, that would have shortened it, but the winds were not in our favor.

i know how you feel,i finally got to fly into LGA back in Nov., now i am complete.
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!
