I can understand a guy like that being exhausted, but the funny part is how he tried to cover it up by acting like he was bending his ear forward to hear better.

For someone who also keeps telling people it's cold out, the guy can put on a jacket himself.

Maybe he was trying to say "We chillin'!"

I wish I knew the circumstances and logistics involved in a group of inner city kids spontaneously cheering for this guy.

That is what's known as a staged photo op. Off camera, you buy the kids lunch or give them a few bucks, tell them to smile and be happy when the camera goes on. Easily staged act.

Not even. Especially for people who know little about politics, they'll get excited and giddy at the sight of any popular or famous figure.

In the days of the internet, websites, youtube, myspace, facebook, etc, we would have know it was a staged event in about 5 minutes.

Phil, was right, famous face & a camera, watch the people go nuts.....

Famous face? I could walk right past Romney today and not realize it. Until the campaigning started I had no clue what this guy looked like. You are really going to tell me a group of inner city kids, know what Mitt Romney looks like and what he is doing in their community?
