Gap in Windows on Jet Airways 777

I was looking at a pic of mine of a Jet Airways 777 and I noticed a large gap between windows. Any idea what they have located in that part of the cabin? Crew rest, lounge, galley?

My money is on the galley. It seems to be at the perfect spot behind First Class and before Biz Class (or whatever classes Jet calls them). I highly doubt they would put the crew lounge so close to the boarding door (even though it's not used during that phase of the trip).

IIRC, UA's 777's had their crew lounge in the middle sectin (seats D-H) of the coach cabin towards the rear 1/3 of the aircraft. But it's been almost 7 years since I've been on one.

Don't they also have a bar on their planes? If so, that's where it'd be.

Yes there is a large galley and bar at door 2. The window gap though is due to LAV's and closets that are on both sides just in front of door 2. First class with 16 suites is ahead of the gap to door 1. Business class runs door 2 to the overwings. The best part is the mood lighting system which simulates outside sky including stars at night to match time at destination. Cockpit crew rest is in front of 1L same as our 777's and f/a's get th loft with 8 bunks. The stairs are across from 5L. In the 2 large galleys, doors 2 and 4 there are OCAS's which are ceiling mounted storage that lowers on an elevator to carry needed cabin supplies for servicing at out stations such as JFK. Next time I'm on the plane I'll snap some interior pics to post here.

Dang, he beat me to it, but yes they are lavs, there are two of them one on each side. When you first walk inside the aircraft the entrance is huge, if you walk up to the front you will pass through first class whose suites could easily take on any of the Arab carriers. On your way to the flight deck you have the traditional heavy Boeing galley to the right, with a two bed pilot rest to the left.

The amazing thing about these T7's is that you will virtually never run out of galley storage, becausse there is galley space everywhere! On the sides of most of the galleys you will find a handle ,and if you pull it from the ceiling a huge block of galley carts will come down, truly amazing considering the fact that no other aircraft does this.

The regular crew rest which holds about 10 full size twin beds is located above the economy class section and spans the entire length between the 3r/L and 4R/L doors, its really a huge aircraft.

    Pics to follow...

Thanks for the "insiders" view of the rest areas. I never thought to take pictures, back when I had the chance.

Very interesting pics, and thanks to all for the answers. Jet seems like they did it right from the passenger comfort to crew as well. Oh btw you can download safety cards from their website.
