Greetings,
I went to Nassau, Bahamas (MYNN) again to try to get a shot of the Cubana YAK-42 that flies to Nassau usually every Friday. You might recall I flew down there in early November to get a shot of it then, Unfortunately Hurricane Noel beat my arrival date into Nassau and Cubana had brought the leased Venesolana 737-200 in for 3-4 weeks on Fridays. My second attempt was met with about 90 percent success. This will be a new type for me. This is one amazing aircraft and I feel extremely fortunate to have a chance to see one with my own eyes.
I was hoping for the full Cubana colors but I got the white one with the Cubana titles. I can't complain because Cubana along with full and partial colored Yaks they have an all white one with no markings. They are replacing the Yaks with newer ones however they are not painting them back up fully as they are to be removed from the CUB fleet soon.
Along with the YAK I also finally got a shot of the Air Canada's "Symphony of Voices" special red/white A320..This has been only "do want" list for at least 7 years.
My Equipment for this flight and route:
Freedom Air E145
KMCO-MYNN
MYNN-KMCO
Again thanks to Stephen Aranha for assisting me with getting the YAK and his info on shooting MYNN.
The last 2 shots are of my MCO-MYNN arrival into Nassau.
