it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Wed. 1-9, I picked a pretty good day to a do a double as LGA had several nice visitors. Started with Air Canada A-320 C-FFWN 'Symphony of Voices"

[airlinerstp://www.airliners.net/open.file/0575290/L/[/airlinersLater in the day Midwest brought in an MD-80, had the PSA and Steelers Special Schemes plus FOUR visits by the Piedmont Pacemaker, working the Shuttle, but the highlight by far was an almost exact recreation of this photo of mine (excuse the shameless plug)

    http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=5639695.

Landed on same runway in very similar light, sadly no new photo was obtained.

    Cheers

Wed 1-16, DL 737-832 N3766, wavy gravy scheme but winglets, no photos yet since winglets added, it appears this is now being done fairly quickly as several DL 738's are now winglet equipped. It was my first sighting of one, looked pretty cool !

I nabbed a DL B738-W out in Vegas, but the clouds were out. I'll post it in the Vegas 1/12 thread hopefully tonight.

Somehow I've managed to see that plane flying overhead at least three times, and I always wondered what the hell it was but never researched it. The last time was just last night, it was quite low and loud over Midtown, no higher than 2000 feet, heading southwest, I figure headed to EWR. Anyway, thanks for solving my mystery!
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

As I walking out across the Express ramp around 2145 last night I saw her parked on A6 so she was LGA bound when you saw her last night, should have been a very early departure back North on Thursday morning.
