Re: LGA Daily Report: JAN '08

    Monday Mar 10

DL International 763ER , ferried to JFK right after I came in today

    http://flightaware.com/live/flight/DAL9900

Star Alliance E-170 N829MD landed on 22 then next to land US A-319 N701UW also in Star Scheme. These two taxied to the ramp one behind the other then followed each other in line for takeoff as well, looked pretty cool !

But for me the highlight of the day was this beautiful G-IV SP I assume operated for the Sands Casino in LAS as it shares the same scheme as their 747SP, L-1011's, 763 and BBJ. No photos on a.net and only one recent one on JP below

USAir 1496 CLT-LGA was flown by ship 161 and continues to allude me in good light. That is the only 321 in new colors to date. She leaves tomorrow morning but obligations and rip off gas prices will prevent me from getting it tomorrow even though it makes another pass through LGA during the late morning hours again. I kind of want to work tomorrow just to get it.

Wed 3-12. Allegiant came back with N948MA, bringing the gamblers home from the North Missisippi casinos. CO ground handles them and this time they parked on A2, which we control. Corellian21 spoke with the friendly crew on their way in and out and when asked if this may become a regular thing they thought maybe once or twice a month.

Approx 2200 lcl a nice looking BBJ landed on 31, missed the call sign and did not look like one of the regular LGA BBJ visitors. Was still here Thursday afternoon but still did not reconzie her from a mile away and was unlisted on flightaware.

    Cheers

US is flying the 190 between LGA and BOS on every other shuttle today. I took about 150 shots of it SO FAR and it has not took off yet.

it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

    18 Mar:

    1350L
    N312EL departed for KIND.
    1715L
VP-BDJ made the shortest takeoff i've ever seen in my time here in LGA, rotated about halfway down the runway. she's kinda light, heading only to PHL.

Strange, the background looks just like LGA, but since none of LGA's runways have slight slopes. much less major ones like the airport in the photo, and as that it not a normal LGA vistor, what airport what that photo actually taken at ? Somewhere mountanous I presume ? Just curious ?
