MIA, FLL spotting, Dec 10th and 11th

Hi, due to family reasons I can't leave NY on Dec 9th and join the big group visiting FLL and MIA. However, I did go down for 2 days of spotting on the 10th and the 11th. This was the first time visiting the various spots around MIA and all I can say was "WOW!! What a wonderful place for spotting". I first checked out "the holes" area. But then I spent most of my time in the back parking lot of the Eldorado Furniture Store and waited for the arrivals and occassional cargo departures on 9R. In my opinion this spot gave a lot more variety than "the holes" area. Nobody bothered me there. I also spotting in FLL and shot from inside Terminal Here are the highlights of my trip.

The catch of the trip -- Alaska 75th anniversary color scheme.

Special color scheme number 2: the US 757 in Star Alliance color leaping into the sky:

Special color scheme number 3: TACA A-321

Finally, the Hank Aaron 757-200, too bad I only got its right side --

Nice shots, all of them. But fear not, N627DL no longer has Hank Aaron on the front.
