Spotting in JAX

Anyone know any good spotting locations at KJAX?

I'm in JAX right now actually...

I've yet to find any decent spotting locations around JAX Intl. However, if you're into military action, hit up KNIP around Roosevelt Blvd. around Dewey Park. Jacksonville NAS has some decent action. There are multiple P-3 and S-3 squadrons based there as well as one C-40 (737-700) squadron based there.

I was at NIP earlier tonight with some friends actually. How long are you in JAX?

Yah, I was at JAX Intl. the other day and I did not see any good spotting locations either, but I thought I would ask. I do like military action and will have to check it out when I get another day off. I will be in JAX for about 3 more months I am attending ATP's Carrier Pilot program in Jacksonville.

On the way into the airport this afternoon I noticed a decent viewing area at the approach end of runway 31 (the 7701' runway). Unfortunately this runway isn't used as often as 7/25 (the 10,000' runway). The only plane I saw using 13/31 was one WN 73G this afternoon.
