it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
Its an absolutely horrible shame about the loss of life thus far in the Osprey program, but if in the long history of aviation, projects were abandoned every time this happened, we'd never have gotten very far.
