    Royal Brunei 777

I saw a picture of an ex UA, freshly painted Royal Brunei 777. Probably one of the best looking Triple 7's I've seen. Is this for commercial use or does the Sultan of Swing have a new toy? Wikipedia seems to be confused on the issue.

I believe Brunei was supposed to take delivery of 3 ex-Varig 777 aircraft for their mainline fleet however they have yet to take delivery of their first aircraft.

From what I've read, they've had serious issues getting these birds into service. There was a thread on A.net within the last week about them. I doubt they will ever fly revenue for them unfortunately.

it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

I remember reading it was financial issues with Brunei or financial issues with leasing the planes and not tech issues with the actual aircraft. I could be wrong though.

Yeah, financial is what I read. After all, those birds were brought up to par by AA Maintenance for the leasing company.
