I was watching the iPhone delay ad posted by hiss srq when I just started watching videos left and right. Besides some that were definitely worth posting because of how funny they were, this one stood above the rest.

I would not be surprised if this issue has made it to national news, but I haven't seen it before. It's a video of the Westboro Baptist Church pastor, Fred Phelps. I'm not the most religious person, and would usually dismiss something like this, but I am truly shocked by this video. I did some research, and found a lengthy Wikipedia article. Many of the people on this forum are among the most patriotic I have seen. What's your reaction? I'm still trying to get over the initial shock.

The First Amendment protects their right to say whatever they want, but hopefully in the near future it won't protect their right to say it wherever it wants. At which point they will all rot in prison where they belong.

Ugh...well, that was a pointless "interview". Morton Downey Jr. is dead, but perhaps Fox News could hire Jerry Springer for these segments.

As for that "church", where is Janet Reno when we need her?
