Hi everyone,
Taking an extra long Thanksgiving holiday here, at our home in L.A. with my family, I took full advantage of the planned A380 visit to LAX. As you may know, the flagship Airbus arrived yesterday (Wednesday) and will leave LA tomorrow (Friday) for Sydney, Australia. Today, however, the super jumbo performed a media flight for 150 guests of Airbus and Qantas Airways, and in addition, I was given the special opportunity to tour the aircraft while on static display -- some fantastic photo opportunities.
I thought you all may be interested in seeing these shots, despite the limited quality. I'm not really a fan of interior images, like many others, so, I'll keep that and other elements of aviation photography I don't particularly care for to a minimum.
That being said, I present to you photos I captured while on my visit aboard the giant with the flight engineer overseeing the A380 programme, as well as others I took these past two days. Enjoy:
Myself with James!
Congratulations to Airbus for engineering a spectacular aircraft that will revolutionize flight for years to come. I'm proud to be French! Vive le Airbus Industrie!!!
