I imagine both flights were charters for either cruise ships or shopping purposes. We tend to get some British charters and Spanish charters this time of year however in the past they have mainly been Brittania (Thomsonfly) from England and Air Europe/Iberworld from Spain.

Thats funny..we got a FCA 757 at SFB today as well.

This is proably about the 3rd or 4th time they have hit SFB in the last year or so.
Blasted weather crapped out just when it landed.

Pretty cool, at current exchange rates it's virtually cheaper for Brits to do their Christmas shopping in NY than in London. Surprised these flights couldn't make it nonstop though. I used to fly on AA's A300s between LHR and JFK in the '90s and of course we know 75s are scheduled on many routes to the UK. Maybe these charter planes don't have extra tanks or something?

Or they've slammed eleven gazillion people in there, making it heavier than a standard (wingletted) 2-class config.

Good point Mateo, now that I think of it AA's A300s in transatlantic configuration used to have a rather large business class section, whereas Monarch's are likely packed with economy seats. Actually AA's A300 business class was very nice for the time, comfy seats and they had PTVs relatively early.
