    Shots from LAX 10/30/07

First plane to greet me on my first trip to In-N-Out...Shamu! I knew it was going to be a good day.

After getting a talking-to from the LAPD, I moved to Imperial Hill, which I liked better anyway.

Spotting nirvana: while this BA 744 was lifting off 25R, and Air New Zealand 744 left the ground simultaneously from 24L! It was quite a sight, but unfortunately they were too far apart to get them both in a frame.

I was hoping "Air Colbert", seen here taxiing to the gate, would be my ride home later that night, but it was not.

    Some freighter action:

And my favorites of the day:

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

I'm seeing a lot of that Malaysia plane...is that a special scheme, or do all of their planes look like that? It rivals Wunala Dreaming in coolness.

That is their special "Hibiscus" livery. IMHO it's way nicer than Wunala Dreaming. :)

Yes they have two. "Papa Bravo" and "Papa Delta" (9M-MPB & D)
