Looks like...the Sprint logo:
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
now that i like. definately unique, yet attractive and professional.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
Not bad, but I kind of liked it with a plain tail, it was very sort of understated like a bizjet, and certainly not as flashy as the MaxJet, Eos, or L'Avion brandings.
Thats new to me, I havn't seen it yet so I guess this plane hasn't started service yet? Looking foward to seeing it.
It Reminds me of a bear claw scraping at the tail.

G-SILC was just painted into Silverjet colors so I'm assuming it hasn't entered service with the airline yet. I'm sure it will turn up at EWR at some point.Originally Posted by njgtr82
I think G-SILC is 3rd ship for Silverjet, first was G-SJET ("Silver Spirit") and second was G-SLVR ("Silver Cloud"). It appears from the pic that SILC has been named "Silver Lining" but my eyes aren't that good, can anyone confirm?
BTW according to a thread on PPRune, the tail art is meant to represent the Union flag (i.e. flag of the UK) in silver.

I can vaguely make out the shape of half a Union Flag in the tail design. You have to use your imagination a bit, but it's there. Silverjet probably felt that it had to give its aircraft a bit more identification on the tail than just a solid color. I like it though.

This is very nice and classy. I like the coating on the tail and the smaller logo that makes those parts look like silver.

Alex T,
I was going to type the EXACT things you did until I saw your post. Yes it looks like a Bear or something with large claws and fangs got the plane and tore through the tail. It doesn't look safe to me!
I can see it now.....People calling in about a plane that just took off and is missing part of its tail!

Not sure if it's to be taken literally, but someone on the Pprune thread commented that this particular aircraft was for the new Dubai service and will in fact be on display at the upcoming DXB airshow. If that's the case and LC is dedicated to the LTN-DXB sector, we may not see her at EWR after all.
