    Long-Term News Calendar?

So the news about EgyptAir getting 77Ws got me thinking about the news calendar.

There are so many news items happening in 2, 3, 4 years that we look forward to, yet a month after they're announced we forget about them until it shows up. So what about having a long-term (long-range?) news calendar?

Possible things to include off the top of my head:
    -EgyptAir getting 77Ws approx. 2010
    -Aeroflot taking Finnair's MD-11s eventually (2011?)
-First expected passenger A380 flight landing (pre-wiring SNAFU it was supposed to be summer 2008 by Air France)
-Delta 777-200LRs arriving next year (first for ATL-DXB, then JFK-BOM)
-The new China routes recently announced

    -Will

You know, when I read your thread, I was ready to type in reply "The news calendar doesn't go THAT far ahead."

You have a good point though. I'll think about how to format this.

    Thanks!

The only downside to this is unforeseen changes in the schedules and airline's plans.
