Here are some arrival pics from JFK 31R.
Not much activity at the mounds, but it was a pleasure to meet some of the guys out there.

    enjoy.

Great pics but you need photoshop!!! It really was an excellent day. I'm working on my shots now (hung over) and I'll try to post soon.

The blue sky behind the Air India 777-200 looks fantastic!

Yeah, the Mound(s) sucked yesterday after they switched over. I was waiting for the LIRR in view of the approach path for about 25 minutes after the party broke up, and I saw nothing but JetBlue. Oh well.

(Speaking of the Mound(s), who left a chair up there???)

I'm getting Photoshop CS2 tomorrow, and I got Kelby's digital photo editing book last night, so I'll post my pics after I've had a chance to mess with my new toys :)

Cool shots Kenny. I wasn't expecting for the weather to clear up yesterday.

Dang, it looks like it was a nice day. I decided to stay home when I couldn't see the skyline from my place, which is rarely a good sign. Some nice catches (stuff I wanted to get); Atlas, Cargolux, Cathay, and the AI 777).

Light finally looks good on the Zoom bird Kenny, she was hard to shoot during the summer. Hopefully that will be nice, I might take a ride out to JFK for Zoom and Globespan.

Thanks Tommy. I didn't realize how well she blended in with the sky until I opened the pics on my pc.

Round 2 from Firestone (it's short but sweet):

Shortly after Air India dropped in, they switched to 13L and 22L arrivals. Us thinking all the heavies would be sent in on 22L bounced to the mounds where this was the best shot I took:

Everything went to 13L. All in all it was an excellent day with excellent company.

    Re: JFK 10-06-07

Ok, I've finally got some results. Most of my pics are similar to Kenny's, which is to be expected because we were standing about 5 feet from each other when they were taken. Please make suggestions on things I can improve. Should I be making the sky lighter? I try to underexpose a bit because I get less chromatic aberration and underexposure is MUCH easier to fix than chromatic aberration.

Pink Delta hates me. Here's Friday:

Here's Saturday: (She landed 31R, and was therefore backlit)
