Inserting pictures in your message/report

Goodevening (at least here in Europe),
I would like you all to enjoy pictures from my home airport Brussels, Belgium and surrounding airports in other European countries, but I have a queston : how do you insert the pictures in your message (not the link but the picture) ? What's the maximum resolution for a picture ?

Hi Karl, welcome to NYCA. To post photos in a message, first you need to have them hosted somewhere online, such as Photobucket, Flicker, or your own site. Then put the URL of the photo between the IMG tags, like this (without the ***):

[img]***http://moose135.smugmug.com/photos/100142416-L.jpg***[/img]

when i upload pix to my photobucket for upload here i'll now stick to 600 pixels wide. i used to upload the full 1024 wide but that was annoying and since others have stated with smaller pix i'll follow suit. i use the img button above and just copy the link off of photobucket. it's easier than easy, even my father gets it. :shock: :borat:

When I right-clicked "View Image" on the word "Image" in your post, it brought me to this page:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/10683521@N03/1544615066/

When I right-clicked "View Image" on the photo on that page, it took me to the actual URL of the photo. I placed that URL -
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2324/154 ... 0973d3.jpg
between the [img]***[/img] tags.

You need the actual URL of the photo itself, not the page on which it is displayed.
