    Turkish A319 at FRG

For anyone passing by FRG there's a Turkish Gov't A319 and Gulfstream parked at Sheltair along New Highway, both are really nice looking planes.

One of several helicopters SCPD screened at the terminal prior to entering the TFR.

Must have been quite a few hops on the way here aboard the Gulfstream.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Probably like two hops at max. I am not familiar with the range on the GIV though.

G-IV from Turkey...1 stop...most likely in Shannon Ireland. The 4 has an 8-8.5 hour range depending on how many on board...I doubt it's more than 16 hours from Turkey to the US. According to JP-BizFleet it's a straight G4 sn 1043.

moose i love the shot with the FRG tower in the background!
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Ran the numbers on the software at work for a straight G4:

LTAC (Ankara, Turkey) - EINN (Shannon) 5:00 hrs
EINN (Shannon) - KFRG 7:12 hrs

Going home would be quicker, as the winds would be at their back.
    KFRG-EINN 6:04 hrs
    EINN-LTAC 4:34 hrs
