Zippy go read question one again......Airplane is not the answer. As for the second one, BINGO! TWA. Even though TWA was not the airline portrayed in the movie and no one ever said that Joe worked for TWA on the back of his jump suit was a big TWA Double Globe logo. This was rather cutting edge for the day since product placement in movies wasn't widely used at all.

In the ending of Coogan's Bluff, which airline, what kind of aircraft and which "terminal" does Clint Eastwood fly out of NYC?

BONUS: While the film borrowed a lot of the storyline from the famous "Raid at Entebbe", a lot of the storyline was based on a US airliner hijacked and flown to Beirut. Name the airline, aircraft, and the reg. (FAA N#). HINT-The answer is somewhere in the photo database on a.net!

American Travel Ways flight 282 ;)

No new questions until originals are answered. Still, I'm going to say Ocean Airlines.

There is a movie that features the 707 and at one point the main character looks out the window while flying over LGA and refers to runway "44". Any guesses?

    Re: Movie Trivia

I just watched Dog Day Afternoon, and am wondering more about the JFK part.

Where exactly did the hostage situation end at JFK, both in the movie and in real life (I assume they might not be the same place). Anyone know?

If you know, can you explain it compared to the current layout? I'm not super familiar with the old time airline's operations.
