After 17 years, my days of gainful employment at Newsday have come to an end. There was a reorganization in my department, and when the music stopped, I didn't have a chair :D I was told this was happening back in July, but today was my last day. I figure I'll take some time to relax and clear my head, then figure out what I want to be when I grow up. At least it looks like I'll have time for some weekday spotting.
