Did anyone catch a Brazilian Air Force ERJ Legacy in the UN parade? I saw one landing today at FLL (pictures came out nasty - no editing I think) and was wondering if it was on it's way from NYC or if it was another type of visitor.

It appears that the Iranian president headed down to Venezuela on the 737-200.

I remember the chilean 707 having that star on the tail, maybe they just left the rudder painted so it wouldn't be THAT ugly? GREY DEATH SCHEME  on the colombian 707 too? oh no If that's true only two latin VIP 707s still in a cool scheme would be the Paraguayan air force (maybe still in LAP colors) and the LADE ones (if those still fly). Not sure if those ever go to JFK or MIA, I guess they don't.

The Aerolineas 747-200 is due back in to JFK tonight from Springfield, MA of all places!

The Vietnam 777-200 should also be at JFK currently.

I was out there, but did not make it out to 31L location in time. Flew right over my head.

They switch it to runway 31L so I placed msyelf i a place to get it on either runway.

This is probably at least my 10th shot of the SDM IL-62s

Re: United Nations General Assembly 2007

Well having seen the Polish Tupolev at ORD earlier in the week, I had my second random encounter with UNGA traffic yesterday afternoon while listening to Channel 9 on United back to LaGuardia, I heard "Papa Alpha Lima Zero Zero One" call in which was apparently headed back to Manila via SFO. So if anyone knows the answer, I am curious why they didn't use the callsign "Philippine One," also wonder if the aircraft used is a standard PAL A340 from the regular fleet or a VIP configuration. Exterior shots posted here make it look like a regular aircraft but I know some countries (e.g. Qatar) have VIP aircraft painted in livery of the national airline.

Aside from that, great work on the photos guys, I can tell some of you really went to great lengths to shoot these rare birds and the effort is much appreciated by this non-photographer!

Cameroon 763 arrived at JFK on Sat afternoon. I assume it will take its passengers home at night.

In addition to Cameroon Airlines' presence at JFK, the following visitors also made a visit today:

Private BBJ (operating for the government of Abu Dhabi, I believe)
    Qatar Airways A330-200
    Turkey Government A319
