    Weekend of Aug 18-19

The weather is shaping up to be perfect this weekend...temps in the mid-70s, dewpoints in the 40s (!), and a stiff breeze favoring the 4s on Saturday and the 22s on Sunday.

Who is going where when? :)

Sat looks like the better day. May do some late afternoon shooting.

Do you know if 4-22 is going to be closed the weekend of September 1-2 (two weeks from now)?

    Josh,

Will know by Thursday afternoon or Friday morning of that week. The Port has Plan A and B construction plans based on weather and wind forecast, hince the last minute choice of which runway to close.

Good news then 31 will be in use, I might head out to LGA late Sat afternoon if I get caught up on what I need to get done. Ron do you know if any of the special schemes will be floating around then?

I'll be briefly stopping by EWR for about 40 minuts on way up from Cape May back home to attempt to catch Qatar and Malaysia.

I might head out to JFK in Sunday if the weather's good; I've got the 100-400 lens rented through this weekend and I may as well get some more use out of it.

If I can get my butt out of bed, I think I'm going to try some morning HoBe action. That's the one place I haven't been to yet. Certainly looks like a "31" day with this forecast.

Only US Special schemes for LGA on Saturday (as of 0800 subject to change) are PHL Eagles N709UW on US 1665 ETA 1610 and Star Alliance N702UW on US 2137 ETA 1815. Sorry for such a small turnout.

The wind is absolutely howling here. These pilots will be earning their money today. May head over later.

I wish JFK were on the way home from New Jersey! Today is gorgeous and 31's is what I have been dying for all this summer but unfortunately JFK isn't on the way back home.

    Hopefully EWR will hold strong...
