    IAD 7/31 - Hunting Qatar

Today was my second attempt to catch Qatar Airways A340-600 at IAD. I finally got it in nice weather. Below couple of shots from today:

    Take care,

Nice grab on the Qatar. I'll be going there this weekend.

All the toehr shots are nice, too. I love the bank on the Iberia.

i love the IB 340 banking with the gear coming up!
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

FINALLY some recent pix from IAD! I've been checking jp and anet a bit lately and nobody is doing IAD justice! God, sometimes I miss going to school in D.C...Perhaps it's time for me to come over and get in on some of this nice, new Dulles action :P

Great work Rafal, and I'm sorry to hear you're no longer interested in uploading to a.net, but from hangin' out with you I know your thoughts behind your actions. Keep 'em coming, even if they're no longer sent to a.net

Catch an OS 772 dep for me some time! :D

Those are beautiful shots. Star Alliance should have a 10 year celebration :D

Great stuff Rafal, I wish EWR had the A340 instead of the A330 from Qatar. So for now I'll just hope for an upgrade eventually.

jaw dropped when I saw the Iberia! NICE
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

Great shots Rafal. Out of interest - what times do the SA planes arrive and depart? Do you get hte SA Star Alliance A346 there much?

The Springbok arrives early in the morning, sits all day, and departs in the latter half of the 1700 hour. Star Alliance (SNC) comes around, well, about 1 out of 9 :>

For some reason, Iberia A340's are always banking like that.
I'm adding two hotties from today at IAD.
    RAF L1011

    and Compass EMB-175
