    Continental Express Bus Service

    Hi all,

Does anyone know any info on Continental Express bus service from EWR to Allentown? I notice that "Flight" 3160 yesterday left from gate 104. Which bus company do they use, and what kind of bus? I'm really curious.

    Anyone have any insight?

I believe the bus is from one of the Coach USA franchises, using a similar bus to the ones used between JFK/LGA and Port Authority

Does the bus actually leave a gate from the airport? I think that would be really weird if you book a flight to ABE and just thought it was a regular connection only to be like "WTF, why are we taking a bus???"

Well, Continental also sells tickets to places like ZFV (the 30th St train station in Philly), so one can never tell what vehicle they're going to put you on :)

Wonder if they have pillows and serve 'meals at mealtime.'

Actually I think there are a few destinations overseas where this sort of thing is done, like IIRC if you book Lufthansa to Luxembourg via Frankfurt the final leg is on a bus, or if you book a ticket to Dubai on Etihad it's a bus from AUH etc. Not sure these actually have flight numbers though.
