Yep, about two minues after my last poast they called for taxi on ground and went right to the front of the line for 13. Pretty whimpy climb out. They did a slightly more "verticle" version of the whitestone climb though still to procedure.

shame that they can't get an unrestricted climb up to the flight levels around here. that's always a treat! two USAF F-16s did that out in PRC when i was there a few years back, was pretty cool to see...
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
I was stationed down at MCAS Beaufort for a while and it was always fun to see this. We had 9 squadrons of hornets so it was a common thing to see. Took it for granted then and would love to see it done again.Originally Posted by cancidas

From another list, they were from VMFA-533 out of MCAS Beaufort. They stopped at NAS Willow Grove before heading up to LGA.
