    jetBlue Homer Simpson Scheme!

    From a press release today:
NEW YORK, July 3, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- JetBlue Airways Corporation
(Nasdaq:JBLU), in partnership with Twentieth Century Fox, today
announced it has been named "The Official Airline of Springfield" --
the hometown city of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie Simpson -- to
celebrate the summer theatrical release of The Simpsons Movie. In honor
of America's favorite animated family of comedy, the low-fare,
high-frills airline will unveil its first-ever specialty aircraft,
christened "Woo-Hoo, JetBlue!" and featuring an image of Homer along
with a permanent logo of the airline's new Springfield status.
Anyone know what aircraft it is?
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

I'm surprised that they haven't made any special schemes sooner. Perhaps the new Barger Blue will truly allow the airline to take on a new image?

I'd imagine this would be on an A320 since it would see more destinations then an E-190 would.

I hope it's more significant than those tiny "Wright Flight" and "Big Papi" decals Delta has stuck on a couple of planes yet made a big deal out of. I'm disappointed they didn't include a photo of the plane with the press release. I've looked all over online and can't find one.

Something like Western Pacific's Simpson's plane would be awesome!

this may be a good reason to shoot B6...
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Guess it won't be long before NW jumps on this bandwagon and announces a Flintstones tie-in featuring the DC-9
