    Headed to London

I'm headed to London on Tuesday evening for a week. It should be a fun trip and will be my first time on a Virgin 744. From the reviews I've read, Virgin is an awesome way to go. I'll definitely have plenty of pics and a report to post when I return.

i'll be headed there in a few weeks, thought about VS but will most likely try BA again. BA always takes care of me... love the service!
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Make sure that you carry your passport for ID, & if you take the Tubes (subway) don't be surprised if they check your backpack, if you have one.

Have a great trip, London is a great city and Virgin Atlantic is a great airline!

I haven't flown them in a couple of years but next summer we are in the beginnings of planning a Europe trip through Spain, Greece, and then up to London and flying back to New York on presumably Virgin Atlantic. My mom is always dying to fly on them again.

Well I got back Monday night around 6:30pm on VIR9. The whole trip was fantastic. I had a great time in London and really look forward to going back there sometime soon (I hope).

Both flights on Virgin were really awesome and the crew members were all very nice (not to mention the hot flight attendants on the outbound leg to London). I was able to chat with the pilots and take a few pictures of the 744 cockpit after we landed in Heathrow last Tuesday which was fun. I was quite surprised to realize how small the 744 cockpit was in relation to the overall size of the aircraft.

Here are my trip pictures: http://picasaweb.google.com/j.e.herman/LondonTrip

I still have another day or two's worth of photos to upload, but I'll try to get that done tonight.

The only time I was on a 744. I forgot to go to the cockpit... silly me.

I see VS got a new IFE system since I was on board, how was that?

It sucked. User interface was terrible, they really need some new software.
