Greetings,
I was stationed along the Shore Promenade at Bay Ridge on Wednesday, May 23, 2007 (vacation week) and caught the USS WASP as she passed under ther V-N Bridge and proceeded up harbor.
Another post will feature WASP's compatriots (Aegis Guilded Missile Crusiers (2) ... destroyers (2) ... and a frigate) that visited Stapleton on Staten Island ... as do I in person the next day. GO NAVY!

I always loved the way the sailors (and marines here) stand on the deck as it comes into port.
That should be me in about two years, also. :) Great pics.
