    56th Fighter Group

I went with my family to the 56th Fighter group resturant. The food and environment was awesome. Eating a great steak while watching Republic airport departures and arrivals. You can't beat that. Plus it was right next to the ATC tower.

anyone else have comments about it?

I like my little resteraunt better. I get to eat and watch commerical jets every day. LOL I am glad you enjoyed it. The last time I went was for my 12th birthday and I loved it. It has been years. I recall getting rocked by a Lear 25 as it screamed out of FRG when I was there. Go figure.

    Eating a great stick
When I was there a few weeks ago I don't recall seeing "stick" on the menu....rather odd.

was there last summer, had a freind come in from out of town. he flew into FRG so the 56th was a natural choice. too bad i was driving home, would have enjoyed a beer.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
