Dumb Question Time
Greetings,
When replying to a post ...
How does one REPLY without quoting anything?
Also ... if I want to thank a few respondents for their help ... do I post a new message to the thread ... OR ... do I send a private e-mail [PM] to each person ... OR ... is gratitude assumed and just not done?
And what are the [e-mail] [www] [offline] [msnm] buttons for?
Something tells me I'm missing something terribly basic ... and obvious here. Thanks.

Alright, to post a reply to someone without quotes, look at the bottom of the last post and you should see "new topic" and "reply", click "reply".
For thanking someone, it doesn't really matter if you thank them in the thread or via PM.
Those buttons at the bottom are for various forms of contact for the person. [E-mail] is to email someone, [www] is their website [msnm] is MSN messenger, and [offline] or [online] is their AOL Instant Messenger status.

There's also the quick reply box at the bottom of every thread...
