Here's to seeing Joe Torre on the unemployment line tomorrow morning!
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.

Yeah, exactly like him. Carlos was at the game with me and he thinks the same. The only difference is that you pitch better than he does :) hahahahahaOriginally Posted by Phil D.
Here's a shot taken by those roaming photogs at Shea. We got there early to grab the front row of the bleachers. The Beltran ball Matsui caught that almost went over, we were right above him.

Yeah, that was awesome. We were all yelling "Damon MVP!!" :)Originally Posted by GothamSpotter

Mel, is that you "whooing" for the hornets? ;)
haha. Actually....that was my voice you heard tossing in the "wooo" for them.
Perhaps I need to revamp my yelps.

I second guessed it was you Phil. I think all of our voices get a little high pitched when we see cool aircraft.Originally Posted by Phil D.

Don't worry Phil, we all scream like a girl when we see some Hornets :)
Good video though. I'm a little surprised they flew that high though, I would of thought a lower fly-by would have been in order.

I was at tonight's game. Somehow it was colder than Friday's game, but at least it didn't rain. The Mets were simply baffled by the pitches from the little leaguer the Yanks put on the mound. Oh well. Time to start crawling ebay for next month's rematch.
And here's a "wow, I'm old" reminder: this is the TENTH season of interleague play. Anyone remember the first Subway Series game? That's right, the Mets' Dave Milicki threw a complete game shutout at Yankee Stadium for a 6-0 win over the defending World Champs. :D

What happened tonight guys, our rookie pitcher too much for ya? :)
One of the very few highlights in Dave Milicki's career with the Mets.

"Keep 'em Flying"
Yep, he was pretty bad...24-30 Mets record. Ed Randall interviewed Milicki on Talking Baseball on FAN yesterday morning and they talked about that game.

The pimples and diaper were much too distracting. We didn't want him to go crying to mommy so we let ya win one ;) (He was great, looked awesome out there....just hope he doesn't go out on DL like Hughes)Originally Posted by Nick
