McGuire air show, Sunday May 13

Since I was out in PA on Saturday, I headed down to McGuire for the Sunday show. Arrived nice and early and got a great spot right in front of the Thunderbirds, and managed to beat the lines for some of the static displays. I also took more than 1500 photos, so it's going to take a while to get through them all, but here are some of the quick picks:

    F-22:

    And the backside:

    A-10:

One of the spare Thunderbird jets:

    KC-10:

    F-117:

    Heritage Flight:

And the main attraction of the show:

i love the shot of the F-4 and A-10 breaking formation with the P-51. definately a rare shot!!
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

I know some people who wouldn't be too happy seeing a picture of the F22's pipes...but they look great!

At long last, I finally finished processing all 1600+ photos and distilling them down to about 200:

Here are a couple that I didn't post the first time around:

F-22, taken from the top of the stairs to the KC-10:

F/A-18, from a much lower angle:
