Same one as featured on the mock-up.

They could have used more blue belly, IMHO. There's too much white.

Wonder how much the graphics and marketing geniuses got paid to tilt the widget and make it red.
Citgo jet! Not bad, I like the retro font on the Delta but the widget should be up right. I'm guessing its sort of like an arrow pointing forward as in Delta moving forward. Much better the the Deltaflot tail they have now. So lets see we're back to the following Delta paint.
Old (i.e middle scheme)
Old New (Deltaflot)
New New (Citgo jet)
I kinda liked Deltaflot. I got used to it, and seeing the Deltaflot tails all lined up at a terminal has a nice look.
Does this remind anyone else of the old Canadian Airlines livery? (At least the red portion of the tail)

I like the two-tone red on the widget: http://media.delta.com/photo_display.cf ... ew=low_res
Some interesting quotes from the DL press release:
Delta rolled out the first Boeing 757-200 painted in the new livery at an employee celebration in Atlanta and tonight will transform its delta.com Web site and install new signage at more than 300 airport check-in locations in Atlanta and New York City. Each one lasted, on average, 4 years. :roll:In 78 years, Delta has had 19 brand logos.
I love the nod about the 787.The previous “flowing fabric” design required eight different colors (four shades of blue, two shades of red, one white and a clear coat), whereas the new livery requires only four.
• To paint Delta’s first B-757 in the updated livery took 54 gallons of paint.
• The new livery saves Delta at least a day in the paint cycle. The new design reduces by 20 percent the man-hours and out-of-service time required to paint Delta aircraft.
• With the advent of next-generation non-metal, composite aircraft, Delta needed a livery solution that covered the belly of the fuselage, which is currently polished. Painting the belly of a Boeing 777 adds about 177 lbs., or the equivalent of one passenger. NOTE: Delta has made no
decisions regarding future aircraft purchases.
• Delta expects to update signage in all its airport locations by the end of 2007 and to accelerate its paint schedule to complete the repainting of its entire fleet within four years.

This coincides with Delta emerging from bankruptcy today.
The tail reminds me a lot of the Decepticons logo:
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Looks horrible. Here it is on a ex-Song 757

Anyone got a napkin? I just threw up all over my desk. Well, this sucks. Delta is my favorite airline too.
"lol retart"
Horrible-Boring Livery, a real insult to the people of Delta. And while I hate the livery, love this cool shot !

As disappointed as I am with my companies underwhelming new Nevada Special Livery it actually looks good compared to Delta.
My two cents !
LGA777
It could certainly be better - if the blue bottom extended further up the side of the fuselage, and the font on the titles doesn't do anything for me, but as for getting you sick, that Germanwings plaid jet that Ron linked to the other day gets me dizzy!

Considering the 757 holds most liveries well, this really isn't very good. More boring and bland than truly ugly though... in my opinion.
"Keep 'em Flying"
It compares too easily with all the other new modern liveries... blah. However, I still think it is marginally better than Deltaflot.

You can see how "economical" (cough cheap cough) they were with the blue paint: http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=5967106
