Ever Been In A Really Quiet Cabin?

I was just looking back at this thread:

    http://nycaviation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5892

Which has this picture in it:

That I took while we were waiting for push back and I had a flash back to the flight. I don't think I have ever been on such a quiet flight. The cabin was absolutely silent the entire 3hr flight to JFK, well except for the GE engines. Granted the flight departed at 11:00pm and got into JFK at 1:15am but I have been on louder flights across the Atlantic!

Anyone experienced a pin drop silence cabin before?

Turbulence causes that... I really enjoy seeing people get all freaked out and shut up when the "turbulence" starts rocking the flight.

How about a flight in a MD-80 with no more than 14 people ATL-MGM at 11pm. Awsome experience. Almost feels like your personal MD-80

A couple times I experienced flights literally being the only person on an entire 767-300. It was work related, but still, it's a lot of fun having 247 seats to yourself.

I just worked two flights both to dallas, one had 11 people on board and the other 20, man would I have loved to be on that flight!

One I have flown on was only 9 people total MCO-STL TWA L1011, we had more crews then passengers.

    G-IV, KMRY-EGLL and KJFK-EPWA.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

    Quiet and quaint.
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

One time I was on a UA 757 SEA-DEN and there was 12 people on board, combine that with the fact that it was a six A.M. departure and you get one quiet flight.
