A Contrail and a Moon Shot from This Evening

While I was walking the dog I noticed this beautiful contrail so I ran inside and grabbed my camera:

I then snapped a picture of the moon while waiting to see if any more contrails would come:

I guess if you were walking your dog, s/he's feeling better. ;)

I like the moon shot. Very sharp.

Would you mind sharing the settings for those shots?

how long of an exposure was the moon shot?
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Both nice shots. Now if you superimposed them you may end up with an amazing pic.

Great how a contrail from a 4 engine jet looks so much cooler.

    Thanks guys. :)

Here is what my settings where for the moon shot:

    ISO: 400
    Aperture: 4.5
    Zoom: 400mm

The picture was really just a point and shoot!

I'm working on superimposing them. I will have a quick throwup in a second.
