The best never rests. When he rests, he'll R. I. P..
Reminds me of the good ole days. It's nice to see U.S. Airways reliving the memory.

Great shots DNA, and good catch Delta777LR. DNA, just wondering, but those shots look like they were taken in the evening? i also saw the plane that day (4/21), but departing at 1:15.
Really nice shots DNA, I especially like the first one with the contrail above, very nice. GBOAD. many of the US Retro schemes visits to LGA are when they are assigned Shuttle lines, meaning upto 4 LGA visits per day. As I was typing this (at work) the PSA retrojet taxied right past me headed to BOS, will be back in 3 hours (1712) back to BOS again at 1800 and back to LGA to RON at 2111. I will see here three times today and Piedmont twice. On the 21st when you shot her N742PS was in LGA three times departing at 0700, 1300, and 1900.

no matter how many times i see that airplane, i just love the scheme more and more!!
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
